This effort is a partnership which includes the City of Omaha, the Omaha Housing Authority, Brinshore Development, and Canopy South. With support from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, this partnership aims to replace distressed public housing at Southside Terrace with high-quality mixed-income housing, improve health, employment, income and educational outcomes of residents, and create the conditions necessary for public and private reinvestment in the Southside Terrace and Indian Hill Neighborhoods.
